He graduated in law from the Autonomous University of Lisbon and began his professional career in 2004, with a special focus on labour law, company recovery, bankruptcy and insolvency of both legal and natural persons, litigation, including credit recovery, legal support and advice to companies and business groups, as well as their human resources, with a view to their optimisation and development.

Professional Profile

2004 - 2007
After graduating from the Autonomous University of Lisbon with a final average grade of 12, he embarked on his professional career as a trainee lawyer in 2004 at the law firm of Dr. Davide Pina in the city of Lisbon. In this same year, he enrolled and began the first phase of training at the Lisbon District Centre of the Bar Association. He completed this initial training phase with a final average grade of 15. As a trainee lawyer, he joined the firm Roldão Mendonça, Teresa Jorge & Associados – Sociedade de Advogados, SP, RL, and was integrated into this multidisciplinary team of lawyers and trainee lawyers that spans the diverse and different fields of law. The experience acquired at this law firm and the various different conferences and training programs that he attended enabled him to conclude the final phase of training at the Bar Association where he received the “Approved With Distinction” classification among his peers.
2007 - 2018
He remained at the aforementioned law firm as an associate lawyer, attending various different conferences and training programs in the areas of Civil Law, Civil Procedures, Litigation and others while particularly focusing on the areas making up Employment Law, Working Procedures and on Insolvency Law and Company Restructuring Law. Within this framework, he attended and completed, with a final grade of 14, the XI Post-Graduate Program in “Specialist Employment Law” at the Institute of Employment Law of the Faculty of Law, the University of Lisbon.
2018 -2025
With professional experience acquired over fourteen years, particularly in the areas of Labor Law, corporate recovery, bankruptcy and insolvency of both corporate entities and individuals, litigation – including debt collection – as well as in providing legal support and advice to companies and business groups, and their human resources, with a view to optimization and development, he was invited to become a founding partner of the firm “Roldão Advogados”, operating under the name “Roldão Mendonça & Associates – Law Firm, SP RL”. This is a multidisciplinary professional law firm, based in Sintra, Lisbon district, but with nationwide scope, whose professionals practice in specific areas of law, both in judicial and extrajudicial contexts, thereby consolidating solid technical expertise in their respective fields of practice.
2025
The integration into Miguel Barradas Lourenço & Associates – Law Firm allows for maintaining a team of lawyers who are up to date and available throughout the entire calendar year to address the firm’s clients’ matters, particularly urgent issues that require a prompt response. The law firm in which it is integrated has experience in handling a wide range of matters and legal areas – see practice areas – for private clients, both individuals and corporate entities, as well as for public clients or entities.
